Editorial
Editorial Policy
How we source, write, review, and update clinical content on ProstateHealth.mx.
Source hierarchy
We prioritize sources by the strength of their evidence and peer-review process. Every clinical claim on this site is traceable to a source at one of the levels below.
Level 1 — Specialty guidelines
Level 2 — Major academic medical centers
Level 3 — US government health agencies
- National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
Level 4 — Peer-reviewed literature
What we exclude
We do not rely on supplement marketing materials, unverified testimonials, anonymous social media claims, or sponsored content as primary evidence sources. We do not run sponsored content or accept payment for inclusion in our featured-centers list.
Review cycle
Each clinical page is reviewed at minimum annually and whenever a major guideline update is published. The last-reviewed date appears in the schema.org metadata of each medical page. See our Content Review Process and Medical Reviewer.
Corrections
If you find an error, email coordinator@prostatehealth.mx. We publish corrections transparently.
Conflicts of interest
ProstateHealth.mx coordinates patient consultations with featured centers and may receive coordination fees. Inclusion in our editorial pages, ranking criteria, or learn library is never paid.
