Our editorial team reviews urology centers using the criteria published at How We Evaluate Urology Centers and Center of Excellence Criteria. Selection is based on:
- Board certification of operating urologists (American Board of Urology or international equivalent)
- Documented annual BPH procedure volume across the full menu of therapies
- Hospital or ambulatory surgery center accreditation (JCI, Joint Commission, or equivalent), independently verifiable
- Published outcome and complication data, when available
- Transparent informed-consent and second-opinion practices
